The 2019 NZ Secondary School Ki o Rahi Nationals is just over 7 weeks away. Teams will have already begun their preparations and some are still looking to qualify at their local regionals.

In regards to your preparations it is essential that you know and understand the specific rules and field dimensions to be played in Hastings in April. If you are not aware it can have a big effect on your style of play and it could mean your making last minute adjustments on the day.

With regards to the rules and dimensions, have a read over them and make sure your students know them well, this makes things easier on the referees come tournament time.

Also as part of the rules is a basic itinerary for the tournament.

Our Nationals Hosts from the Hawkes Bay have also been kind enough to supply us with an equipment specifications document that shows you the size of Te Tupu and the length and brand of the tags - that is below:
