2019 Koroneihana Ki o Rahi

The 2019 Koroneihana Ki o Rahi Tournament has been added to our calendar.

The tournament is to take place like it does every year at Patterson Park, Turangawaewae, just across the road from the Marae.

Head along and celebrate Kiingitanga celebrations and catch up with whanau.

Last years champions were from Tuwharetoa and no doubt they’ll be back to defend their title.

If you’re a current student at a secondary school then talk to your coaches about getting along to the event, better still if you’re an ex-student of a secondary school that has played at Nationals it would be awesome to see some of the old faces get a team together and compete.

There aren’t many adult tournaments happening and this is one of them, let’s try get teams from all across the country along to tautoko.

It is only $30 to register a team and you can do so through contacting Tia Lawrence from Sport Waikato tial@sportwaikato.org.nz

The tournament is held Saturday 17th August 2019, so you’ve got a good couple of months to rustle up a team and have a training or two.
