All you need to know - 2019 NZ Secondary School Ki o Rahi Nationals - Rules, Registration & Dimensions
The 2019 NZ Secondary School Ki o Rahi Nationals is just over 7 weeks away. Teams will have already begun their preparations and some are still looking to qualify at their local regionals.
In regards to your preparations it is essential that you know and understand the specific rules and field dimensions to be played in Hastings in April. If you are not aware it can have a big effect on your style of play and it could mean your making last minute adjustments on the day.
Below you will find links to the rules, field dimensions, equipment specifications as well as the registration form.
With regards to the rules and dimensions, have a read over them and make sure your students know them well, this makes things easier on the referees come tournament time.
Also as part of the rules is a basic itinerary for the tournament.
Our Nationals Hosts from the Hawkes Bay have also been kind enough to supply us with an equipment specifications document that shows you the size of Te Tupu and the length and brand of the tags - that is below:
The final document is the Registration form - If you have any queries regarding the tournament please contact Pene Hati who has been liaising with schools in regards to the National competition - his email address is: email@example.com
If you have any issues with the documents you can also head along to the New Zealand Secondary School Sports Council website HERE.
Please Note: KIORAHI.COM do not organise the National competition, we just do what we can to help promote the game and inform people to the best of our ability, we are happy to try and answer your questions but your best option is to contact Pene - firstname.lastname@example.org
